Cyprus Car hire terms and conditions
Please read the following text thoroughly, our Cyprus car hire company can
not be held responsible if clients have not read and understood our terms & conditions.
Regency Car Hire in Cyprus reserves the right to change,
modify, update, add or remove all or any portion of these terms at any time at its
discretion, with or without notice. (Confirmed car hire bookings will not be
affected) Your continued use of this webpage signifies that you agree to these
car rental terms.

Cyprus car hire full insurance
All cars are almost fully insured with
only 500 euro Excess (Deductible)
If any of the following damages or losses are more than euro
500 then insurance offered does
Punctures and flat tire replacement.
Fuel errors. (Filling up with the wrong type of fuel)
Loss of car
Loss of GPS device
music devices (radio, CD player etc.)
Lack of electricity because of forgotten turned on electrical devices.
Collision damages caused by alcohol or drug abuse.
Un-reported accidents or damages.
car, windscreen and windows, burst tires caused due to careless driving.
Theft, if car
has been forgotten unlocked.
Car fire, if car
key was forgotten switched on.
period is 4 consecutive car hire days.
1 rental day = 24 hours.
Due to insurance policy, visitors to the recognized Republic of Cyprus are
permitted to drive our rental cars in to the north Turkish occupied part of Cyprus
by any means.
Late drop off: Up to 2 hours late drop off is free. If drop off time is later than
2 hours from the pick up
time then an extra rental day will automatically apply in your quote.
Minimum age of drivers is 24
years. Maximum is 75 years.
Additional drivers: One at no extra cost but must be approved
by REGENCY CAR HIRE CYPRUS upon car delivery.
Infant/Child/Booster seat: One at no extra cost but must be fitted by a parent or guardian.
SAME TO SAME:
Please return the car with the same amount of fuel as when
was picked up. The car
hire company will charge you for every missing quarter of a tank.
car rental: REGENCY offices must be informed of this at least 48
hours prior to the expiry of the agreed car hire period.
INSURANCE Deposit Requirements: You need to
deposit the refundable amount of euro 500.00 by
pre-authorization of a valid credit card or by
cash upon car delivery. This amount will be refunded when the car is returned to
us at the same condition
as when was picked up. This amount can NOT be waived by any supplement.
Car accidents: In case of any accident due to customer's fault or
negligence the company will not be held responsible for any refund or
replacement of the vehicle.
Driving license: Your national or international driving license is accepted.
Availability: Cars are booked by group. We can not guarantee any
particular make. However every effort will be made to supply the car make requested.
Regency Car hire
in Cyprus reserves the right to free upgrade your car group without
prior notice, if the car group booked becomes unavailable for reasons
the right car:
Please choose your rental car according to your personal requirements (e.g. number of
persons, luggage size etc) Regency Car Hire in Cyprus might not be able to change
car on the spot, neither will be held responsible if the car booked is not
spacious enough for your personal luggage. In the event that your luggage does not fit in
you will be suggested by our representative to hire a taxi on the spot at your
expense. If this is
still unaccepted then you will be allowed to cancel your booking by paying 3
car rental days plus delivery expenses.
Cyprus airport car hire delivery: We offer free car delivery (from 08.00a.m until
23.00 night*) to both Cyprus
Should you wish to
pick up your hired car at the airport, it is important that you enter
your arrival airport (Larnaca
or Pafos), the
arrival flight number and the estimate arrival
local time. If you have given us a valid flight number
and your flight is confirmed to still be arriving on the given date, our
representative will wait for you even if there is a delay. If, after
landing, you have more than one hour delay in the customs (e.g. loss of luggage
) we recommend that you use the emergency telephone number (which will be
supplied with our confirmation email) in order to confirm your arrival. In
contrary case you might be considered as "No show Up" and pay 100% of the car
rental amount. View cancellation policy below.
*For after eleven night car delivery (11.00p.m - 08.00a.m) the amount of Euro
25.00 per car rental
will be included in your

Car delivery to hotels: We offer free car delivery (day time) to hotels anywhere in
the Republic of Cyprus except these resorts, where a small fee is added
on the rental agreement as follows:
Protaras (Euro 30.00 extra)
Agia Napa (Euro 30.00 extra)
Coral Bay (Euro 25.00 extra)
Polis/Latchi (Euro 55.00 extra)
No refunds will be given for
car rentals aborted earlier or cancellations made after rental start date.
However Regency Car hire will be flexible for emergency medical cases.
Parking and traffic violations are the drivers responsibility.
Regency Car Hire reserves the right to supply the car group booked from a
sub-contracting company with above terms and conditions.
All car rentals are subject to the full terms and conditions printed on the reverse side of the rental
agreement which will be signed upon delivery.
Cyprus car hire Booking terms
In order to enable us securing and confirming a car hire booking, at
least a 10% (or minimum euro 20.00) down payment of the total amount is required to be pre-paid by a valid credit/debit
card. The remaining balance can be paid by cash or credit/debit card upon
car delivery. However, for
peace of mind, we recommend full payment in advance (Check
how to pay with
Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the
rental date: Pay 10% (or minimum euro 20.00) of the
Cancellations made 6 - 1 days prior to the
date: Pay 25% of the total amount.
Cancellations made 1 - 0 days: Pay 100% of the total amount.
"No show Up": Pay 100% of the total amount.
Note: If you have
fully (or more than 10%) paid in advance and you wish to cancel your booking within the
time limits as above stated, then the difference
amount will be refunded.
Any complaints should be addressed to the company
during the car rental period. Complaints received after
quests departure will not be accepted neither answered.
