Regency Car Hire in Cyprus reserves the right to change, modify, update, add or
remove all or any portion of these terms or special offers at any time at its
discretion, with or without notice. (Confirmed car hire bookings will not be

Cyprus car hire insurance
All Regency cars are fully insured WITH ZERO EXCESS!! However insurance offered does
not cover:
Punctures and interior damage.
Loss of car key.
Collision damages caused by alcohol or drug abuse.
Cars to be driven in the north part of Cyprus.
Unreported accidents or damages.
Cyprus car hire general terms
Minimum car rental
period is 4 consecutive days.
Minimum age of drivers is 25 years.
However for those
they are under age but over 21, a three-year-old driving license is required.
Additional drivers: One at no extra cost but must be approved
by REGENCY CAR HIRE CYPRUS. Second or more additional drivers at €15.00
per rental per driver.
Baby or booster seats: One at no extra cost. Second or more at
€15.00 per rental per unit.
Roof Rack with straps: It can be pre-fitted upon request on some cars (see
car grouping) with luggage
rails and at extra charge of €15.00 per car rental.
Fuel: All cars are supplied with full tank. Exact amount is charged
on delivery depending on the current rate at the time of delivery and is not refundable.
Extension of car rental: REGENCY offices must be informed of this at least 48 hours prior to the
expiry of the agreed car rental period.
Driving license: Your national or international driving license is accepted.
Availability: Cars are booked by group. We can not guarantee any
particular make. However every effort will be made to supply the car make
possibly requested.
Regency Car hire
in Cyprus reserves the right to free upgrade your car without
prior notice, if the car group booked becomes unavailable for reasons
unforeseen.
Car hire to north Cyprus.
Due to insurance policy, visitors to the recognized Republic of Cyprus are not
permitted to drive our rental cars in to the north part of Cyprus, the area
which is under Turkish occupation.

Please choose your rental car according to your individual needs (e.g. number of
persons, luggage size etc) Regency Car Hire in Cyprus might not be able to change
or upgrade the
car on the spot, neither will be held responsible if the pre-booked car does not
accommodate your party & luggage. In the event that your luggage does not fit in,
you will be suggested by our representative to hire a taxi on the spot, at your
expense. If this is
unaccepted then you will be allowed to cancel the booking by paying 3 days
rental plus delivery expenses.
"No Show
Up" customers are fully charged: Should you wish to
pick up your car at the airport, it is important that you enter your
arrival airport, the arrival flight number and the estimated arrival time. If you have given us a valid flight number
and your flight is confirmed to still be arriving on the given date, our
representative will wait for you even if there is a delay. If, after
landing you have more than one hour delay in the customs, we recommend that you
use the emergency telephone number (which will be supplied with our confirmation
email) in order to confirm your arrival. In contrary case you might be
considered as "No show Up"
No refunds will be given for car rentals aborted earlier or cancellations made after rental start date.
All car rentals are subject to the full terms and conditions printed on the reverse side of the rental
agreement which will be signed upon delivery.
Cyprus car hire booking terms
In order to enable us securing and confirming a car hire booking, at least a 10%
(non-refundable) deposit of the total amount is required. The remaining balance
can be paid upon delivery by cash or credit/debit card. However, for your own
peace of mind we recommend payment in advance (Check
how to pay)
Cyprus car hire cancellation Policy
Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the rental date: Pay 10% of the
total amount. Cancellations made 6 - 1 days prior to the rental
date: Pay 25% of the total amount. 1 - 0 days or "No show Up": Pay 100% of the total amount.
Note: If you have
pre-paid in full or more than 10% and you wish to cancel your booking within the
time limits as above then the difference
amount will be refunded.
Cyprus car hire complaints Policy
Any possible complaints should be addressed to the company
during the car rental period only. Complaints received after quests departure will not be accepted.
