Terms and conditions for V.I.P cars

Please read the following text thoroughly, Regency car hire Cyprus cannot be held responsible if clients have not read and understood our car hire terms & conditions. Regency Car Hire Cyprus reserves the right, to change, modify, update, add, or remove all or any portion of these Terms or Special Offers, at any time, at its discretion with or without notice. (Confirmed car hire bookings will not of-course be effected) Your continued use of this website signifies that you agree to these car rental terms.

V.I.P cars - Insurance

All V.I.P cars are properly insured.  However insurance offered does not cover:
--The first *€1200.00 (One thousand & two hundred Euros)  of any damage or loss sustained to the hired car (Excess).
--Punctures and interior damage.
--Loss of car key.
--Collision damages caused by alcohol or drug abuse.
--Cars to be driven in the north part of Cyprus.
--Non-reported accidents or damages.

*You may reduce the excess to €600.00 by purchasing Excess Waiver at €25.00 per day.

V.I.P cars - Car hire general terms

-Minimum car hire is 4 consecutive days.

-Minimum age of drivers is 25 years.

-Fuel: All rental cars are supplied with full tank. Exact amount is charged on delivery, depending on the current rate and is not refundable.

-Extension of car rental: REGENCY CAR HIRE CYPRUS offices must be informed of this at least 48 hours prior to the expiry of the agreed car rental period.

-Driving license: Your national or international driving license is accepted.

-Choose the right car from our car grouping page: Please choose your rental car in Cyprus according to your individual needs (e.g. number of persons, luggage etc) Regency Car Hire Cyprus might not be able to change the car on the spot, neither will be held responsible if the pre-booked car can not accommodate your party & luggage. In the event that your luggage does not fit in, then you might need to hire a taxi on the spot. (at your expense). In such case our representative will be of assistance.

-"No Show" customers are fully charged: Should you wish to pick up your hired car at the airport, it is important that you enter your arrival flight number and estimated time when booking your car rental. If you have given us a valid flight number and your flight is confirmed to still be arriving on the given date, our representative will wait for you, even if there is a delay. He/She would not wait if after landing, you do not show up in 60 minutes. If you have a more than 60 minutes delay in customs you are advised that at least the driver comes out (while other members of your party are waiting for luggage) or if this is not possible, you can use the emergency telephone number which will be supplied in our Receipt-Confirmation email (Otherwise Cyprus Car Hire Voucher). In contrary case you will be considered as "No show", our representative will leave the airport and you will be charged the full amount of the car rental.

-No refunds will be given for car hire aborted earlier or cancellations made after car rental start date.

-All car rentals are subject to the full terms and conditions, printed on the reverse side of the car rental agreement, which will be signed upon delivery.

V.I.P cars - Car hire booking terms

In order to enable us securing and confirming a car hire booking, at least 10% deposit of the total amount is required. (read: how to pay) The remainder balance can be paid upon delivery. However, for your peace of mind, you may proceed with full pre-payment at once.

V.I.P cars -  Car hire cancellation policy

Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the rental date: Pay 10% of the total amount. Cancellations made 6 - 1 days prior to the rental date: Pay 50% of the total amount. 1 - 0 days or No show: Pay 100% of the total amount.

Note 1: If you have paid a more than 10% deposit and you wish to cancel your booking - up to 7 days prior - then appropriate amount will be refunded.

Note 2: If you are cancelling your booking from 6 - 1 days prior, the company reserves the right to bill your credit card with appropriate differences as above mentioned. If you do not show up, the company will bill your credit card with the full amount.

V.I.P cars - Complaints Policy

Complaints received after quests departure will not be accepted.

V.I.P Cars - What's included in prices

--Proper Insurance*

--15% VAT

--Unlimited mileage

--24 hours Road Service (A.A membership)

--One additional driver (upon request)

--One child/booster seat (upon request)

--Maps & direction assistance

--Maintenance & oil

--Change car in the case of breakdown

--**Airport delivery AND drop off.

--Delivery AND drop off within major towns limits.

*Except the first €1,200.00 (one thousand two hundred Euros) of damage or loss to the hired car (Excess)

**For after midnight (00.01 - 07.59) car hire delivery, there is an extra charge of 35.00 per rental.

V.I.P cars rates DO NOT include

--After midnight (00.01 - 07.59) car hire delivery (Supplement: €35.00 per car rental)

--Delivery and drop off outside the limits of major Cyprus towns. (Supplement: €25 - €35 depending on distance)

--Second or more additional drivers (Supplement: €15.00 per driver per car rental), Second or more baby/booster seats (€15.00 per rental), Punctures, Interior Damage, Collision damage caused by alcohol or drug abuse, Gasoline, Road fines.
